We are not used to giving positive comments about our leaders and particularly the ones given the mandate to rule our respective nations. This is, however, not the case when it comes to Queen Elizabeth II. Her reign as monarch has been nothing less than outstanding.

The Queen was born on April 21, 1926, as Elizabeth Alexandra Mary. At the age of 25, she became Queen following the sudden death of her father, King George VI, in 1952.
