Rey Mysterio, born Oscar Gutierrez, became a wrestling icon in the ‘90s and 2000s thanks to his high-flying, fast-paced style, which made him stand out. His colorful masks, inspired by Lucha Libre wrestlers, have become his trademark. Despite the years passing, Rey Mysterio remarkably still looks much like he did a decade ago, raising curiosity among fans.
Over his career, he’s captured major titles like the World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship, and WWE Cruiserweight Championship, earning him the nickname “King of Mystery.” Though he no longer competes full-time in WWE, Rey continues wrestling in Lucha Underground and independent promotions like House of Glory, QPW, and Black Destiny Wrestling, proving that he’s still a force in the wrestling world.
